Tips for Soothing Sun-Exposed Skin

What is the Best Face Oil for Soothing Sun-Exposed Skin?
After a full week at the beach, my skin has been thirsty for REPAIR face oil. That’s in part because of its extraordinary omega content. Omegas are known to decrease transepidermal water loss, increase barrier function, subdue breakouts and help reduce the production of inflammatory compounds that contribute to the aging process. All it takes is one application of REPAIR face oil to feel this soothing action on sun-exposed skin.
You will find omega 3, 6, 7 and 9 fatty acids in REPAIR oil. The number refers how many carbons away from the methyl end of the fatty acid chain that the first carbon-carbon double bond appears. If the double bond is three carbons away, it's called an omega-3 fatty acid. If they have one double bond, they're called monounsaturated fatty acids; f they have more than one double bond, they're called polyunsaturated fatty acids.
While some omegas are produced by animals and others by plants, omegas perform similarly when applied topically. Nevertheless, the source matters. Beyond all the obvious ethical and sustainable reasons to consider, some oils that are rich in omega fatty acids, like olive oil, also tend to be comedogenic or pore-clogging.
We’ve excluded anything recognized as pore- clogging but have maintained a rich yet ready to absorb oil blend that is keeping my skin happy and healthy. We’d love to share it with you. Add to cart today with our auto-refill program and save 20% on your first shipment!
