ARGAN NUT OIL

Yep, those are goats grazing in a tree. An Argan tree in fact. Regardless of its rough, thorny bark and gangly, crooked branches, the Argania spinosa tree attracts these animals with its tasty fruits. And we can relate!

We love the cold-pressed seed oil and use it in our REPAIR face oil. Argan oil contains high quantities of vitamin A and vitamin E, and it is also a rich source of antioxidants, Omega-6 fatty acids, and linoleic acid, which allow it to ease inflammation, deeply moisturize the skin, combat damage from harmful free radicals that causes premature aging, restore the skin’s elasticity, soften its texture, and boost cell production and regeneration to promote healthy skin. It can also be healing to bug bites, rashes, eczema and other skin infections when applied topically.

Due to its non-greasy, non-irritating, and highly absorbent qualities, argan oil can be soothing and healing to skin afflicted with acne and associated inflammation, as it will balance and neutralize the skin’s oil production levels. Argan oil is safe to use around the eyes to reduce the appearance of fine lines and age spots, and it can be preventative against stretch marks and other sagging or puckering of the body’s skin. Additionally it is an ideal hair conditioner that is widely celebrated for its ability to make hair soft and silky. These softening properties also allow argan oil to have beneficial applications on dry, brittle nails, as it will help to promote strong and healthy growth.
