My journey into functional medicine is deeply rooted in both my personal and professional experiences. While practicing as a cardiologist and serving as Associate Director of the Cardiac Care Unit, I realized that traditional medicine often focuses on treating disease after it has already developed, rather than preventing it in the first place. I wanted to go beyond cardiology and address all aspects of a patient’s well-being—nutrition, sleep, stress management, and longevity. That realization led me to complete advanced training in age management and regenerative medicine, which fundamentally changed my approach to healthcare.

Your approach emphasizes treating the root cause of health issues rather than just the symptoms. How did you develop this philosophy, and what impact have you seen it have on your patients?

This philosophy developed over time as I witnessed how interconnected the body truly is. Instead of isolating symptoms and treating them individually, I began focusing on underlying triggers—nutritional deficiencies, inflammation, gut health, environmental toxins, and stress. When you address these core imbalances, patients experience profound transformations. I’ve seen people reverse chronic conditions, regain energy, improve mental clarity, and dramatically enhance their quality of life by getting to the root of their health challenges.

You are the founder of Wellbel, a brand focused on enhancing beauty and wellness from within. Can you share the story behind Wellbel and how it reflects your philosophy on health?

Wellbel was born from the idea that beauty is a reflection of inner health. So many products on the market were filled with synthetic ingredients, unnecessary additives, and short-term fixes. I wanted to create a solution that was clean, effective, and science-backed—one that supported hair, skin, and nail health through essential nutrients that truly nourish the body. Wellbel aligns with my philosophy that when we give the body what it needs, it naturally thrives, and the results are evident not just in how we feel but in how we look.
