The National fruit of India, mangoes, known as the “King of Fruits” are deeply intertwined with the country’s folklore, religious ceremonies and medicinal system. They have been cultivated and harvested for thousands of years and have played a role in Ayurveda for over 4000 years with the understanding that they can increase immunity, improve brain activity and strengthen the heart.
The seed butter, once popular in confections as an alternative to cocoa butter, is now a celebrated skincare ingredient as it is rich in oleic, stearic, palmitic, linoleic & arachidic acids, plus vitamins A, C & E.
