PROTECT YOUR SUN-KISSED SKIN

To protect itself from the damaging effects of the sun, your skin increases its production of a brown pigment called melanin. Increased melanin makes skin appear darker or sun-tanned. While a healthy vacation glow may be desirable, sun exposure can produce irregular pigmentation of the skin and a permanent stretching of small blood vessels, giving your skin a mottled, reddish appearance.

The best way to avoid an uneven skin tone is to protect your skin from sun damage from the start. Follow the lead of @cortezhelene and wear a hat - cowboy, straw, bucket, baseball, visor - take your pick 🤠

Your skin will also benefit from morning and evening applications of RENEW serum. Rich in antioxidants such as UV-protective lycopene, RENEW will protect your skin’s appearance whilst preventing DNA damage. Should you get too much sun exposure, soothe the skin with REPAIR oil - just as welcome on burnt shoulders and décolleté as it is nose, cheeks and ears. To help even out pigmentation use SCRUB in the evenings to gently exfoliate and brighten (1-2x a week in the summer is sufficient), and start with PURIFY to effectively remove stubborn mineral sunscreen to ensure your skin is prepped for subsequent treatment products.
