INDIAN TURMERIC
At LINNÉ, we source our Turmeric from India. We use the CO2 extract of organic turmeric root in our REPAIR face oil and SCRUB mask. Turmeric, also known as Curcuma longa, is a celebrated anti-inflammatory that also serves as an effective antimicrobial and anti-fungal. Topically, it is healing to minor wounds, fungal infections, insect bites, and eczema. It is soothing to rosacea and may reduce the appearance of acne. The active curcumin, present in the rhizome oil, has demonstrated significant antioxidant and radical scavenging activity, making it valuable in both topical and internal applications.
