Where does BALANCE fit in my skincare routine?
BALANCE is a Step V oil. For best results, use it after cleansing, misting, and applying serums to maximize absorption and barrier support. It can be used morning and night or as needed for extra replenishment.
What is the difference between BALANCE, REPAIR & REPLENISH?
BALANCE was crafted for oily or blemish-prone skin, while REPAIR was formulated for skin that leans towards dryness, or requires extra care for concerns like sunburn, scars, or hyperpigmentation. REPAIR features rich and deeply nourishing seed and nut oils paired with regenerative, anti-inflammatory essential oils sourced from the roots, rhizomes, and bark of plants, resulting in a warm and woodsy aroma. BALANCE, on the other hand, is made with sebum-regulating seed and nut oils along with antiseptic, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory essential oils derived from the aerial parts of plants, offering an herbaceous and bright scent. Many LINNÉ loyalists enjoy using both oils for a customized regimen that adapts to their skin's changing needs, while others prefer BALANCE in the morning and REPAIR at night.
Can I use BALANCE on my hair?
Not just for the skin, BALANCE is are perfect for facial and head hair - you can even try them on the hair... down there. These products are packed with nutrients known to nourish and protect both the hair and scalp. Ingredients such as jojoba and rose hip are especially good for addressing hair loss, improving dandruff, encouraging hair growth, and revitalizing dry, thinning or dull hair. Whether you apply these products just to the ends of hair to style and finish a look or use them as as a special scalp treatment they will help hair look healthy, shiny, and well-hydrated.
Will oil cause breakouts?
Not all oils are created equal—some can clog pores, while others help balance and support the skin. The right oils, like jojoba and hazelnut, regulate sebum production, keeping skin hydrated, not greasy. Research shows that acne-prone skin lacks linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid. BALANCE replenishes this with omega-6-rich black cumin seed oil, helping to rebalance skin and prevent breakouts. Antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory botanicals further combat pimples and blackheads, while regenerative ingredients aid in healing acne scars. If your skin is oily or acne-prone, BALANCE is the perfect choice to restore clarity without stripping moisture.
Is this product for dry or dehydrated skin?
Dry skin is a skin type that often occurs when the body does not produce enough natural oils resulting in itchiness, redness, flakiness and increased incidence of dermatitis, psoriasis, and eczema. Dehydrated skin is a temporary condition in which the skin lacks water. This can occur in dry and oily skin types and manifests as congestion, sensitivity, dullness, lack of elasticity and oiliness. For dry skin we recommend our oils and balms, and for dehydrated skin we recommend our mist and serum. REPAIR is loaded with nourishing fatty acids that support the skin's barrier function and prevent dehydration. Use REPAIR with one of our hydrating products for complete skin nutrition.
What is face oil?
Face oils are powerful skincare essentials, acting as emollients to nourish and soften and occlusives to lock in moisture and strengthen the skin barrier. But not all face oils are created equal—many contain low-grade, processed oils and fillers that dilute their effectiveness. BALANCE stands apart with a synergistic blend of biocompatible, active botanicals designed to restore harmony to blemish-prone skin. It regulates sebum production, clears pores, and delivers omega-6-rich oils like black cumin seed to replenish linoleic acid, a key component often deficient in acne-prone skin. Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredients further combat breakouts, while regenerative compounds support scar healing. Free from unnecessary fillers, BALANCE is crafted to work with the skin, not against it, delivering deep nourishment, clarity, and resilience without disrupting its natural equilibrium.
