Hibiscus sabdarifa, otherwise known as jamaica and roselle, is a popular beverage ingredient known for its tart taste and ability to serve the body in a variety of ways. It provides digestive, immune system, and inflammatory support and is helpful in minimizing high blood pressure and cholesterol. All summer long we made popsicles from the steeped flowers, and all year long we apply it to our skin via RENEW face serum.

Hibiscus sabdarifa contains antioxidants known to maintain elasticity and promote even skin tone. It is rich in Vitamin C, which is valuable to the synthesis of collagen and additional studies suggest that the content of protocatechuic acid within hibiscus inhibits the growth of cancerous cells.
