REPAIR VS. BALANCE FACE OIL
We currently offer two face oil blends to target varying needs: REPAIR and BALANCE. This allows us to serve a wider demographic as well as craft a customized regimen that will support changes in skin due to shifts in diet, stress, hormones, quality and duration of sleep, and environmental exposure.
Previous to trying a face oil, many people are shocked to discover that the right oils, such as jojoba, hazelnut and shiso, can actually benefit a greasy complexion by bringing sebum production into balance. The addition of anti-septic, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory essential oils further aid in the treatment and prevention of pimples and blackheads. Many of our essential oils also contain regenerative properties and thus are beneficial in the healing of scar tissue associated with acne. If you would describe your skin as greasy or acne prone, BALANCE is a perfect choice for you.
If however, your skin tends to be dry, or you want to resolve sunburned or unevenly pigmented skin, we recommend REPAIR. Both oils contain regenerative qualities and help to prevent and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, however REPAIR is especially beneficial for mature skin.
Some folks may enjoy having both on hand, to respond accordingly to the skins needs, and many simply choose to use BALANCE in the morning and REPAIR at night. There is no wrong way to do it, but we’re here to help you find the most suitable fit.
